It was horrible. They treat you like animals when you in there, you know. They act like you’re not even human, and then the food they serve, most of that stuff isn’t even edible so if you don’t have family to send you money for commissary, you’re basically just going to lose weight, and it’s just so hard… It’s like a mental thing with me [now]. If the police stop me, just pull me over I go to stuttering. I go to shaking. It’s like I’m traumatized by them. And I shouldn’t have to feel that way because they supposed to protect me.
