Join the Newcomb Art Museum for a free exhibition tour, a musical performance with Michaela Harrison and a panel with policy advocates and experts.

  • 12 to 1pm - (In the Museum) Free exhibition tour led by Andrea Armstrong, professor of Law at Loyola University.

  • 1 to 2pm - (In the Museum) Singer Michaela Harrison will perform a musical response to the exhibition.

  • 2 to 3pm - (In Freeman Auditorium) Policy advocates and experts, including representatives from the New Orleans chapter of the ACLU of Louisiana, Southern Poverty Law Center, VeraInstitute for Justice, and Daughters Beyond Incarceration, will take part in a panel discussion revolving around policy measures taken in favor of criminal justice reform. Audiences are invited to take part in a Q&A and learn more about what these organizations do and how they can get involved
